Maximize NIL Opportunities and understanding the new Pay for play model
To ensure the highest quality of representation, Peak Performance has a structured, six-step process to onboard and develop athletes into successful NIL and College participants:
Step 1: Scouting and Initial Research
• Scouts actively follow leads, either by physically visiting athletes or conducting virtual assessments.
• Scouts perform surface-level research on each prospect, including social media presents and :
• Academic performance (GPA)
• School affiliations
• Existing offers and opportunities
• Current challenges or conflicts the athlete may be facing.
Step 2: Internal Review
• Scouts report findings to Head Coach and Recruiter, Coach Uby.
• Coach Uby conducts extensive research on the athlete, verifying all information before presenting the prospect to the Peak Performance team.
• Staff meetings are held weekly (Tuesdays) at the main Peak Performance office to review potential recruits. Each prospect is discussed in detail, highlighting both their strengths and areas for improvement.
Step 3: Athlete and Family Outreach
• After staff approval, Coach Uby contacts both the athlete and their parents for an introduction.
• A meeting is scheduled to familiarize the family with both Prestige Academy (a developmental partner) and Peak Performance.
Step 4: Representation Agreement
• During the meeting, parents are presented with a representation contract, officially bringing the athlete under the joint representation of Prestige Academy and Peak Performance.
• All new clients must complete an eight-week training and development program at Prestige Academy before advancing to the full Peak Performance network.
Step 5: Securing Opportunities
• Our department for partnerships, begins engaging with coaches, companies, and key officials to secure the best NIL deals for the client.
• Throughout this process, recruiters continue to monitor the athlete’s conduct and ensure they remain compliant with NIL regulations and expectations.
Step 6: Presentation of NIL Deals
• The Peak Performance team compiles and presents all NIL opportunities to the athlete and their family, ensuring complete transparency.
• Clients receive ongoing support during and after the signing process, ensuring long-term success and sustained positive representation.
